David Antony, C.A. - Chairman of the Board

Mr. Antony is a chartered accountant and is the Chairman of the board of the Corporation.  He has more than 15 years of experience assisting companies in structuring transactions, accessing capital and corporate governance.  Mr. Antony has been the Director and an Officer of Southern Pacific since March 2006.  He is currently also a director of Blackhawk Resource Corp., NorthSea Energy Inc., Iron Tank Resources Corp. and Paramax Resources Ltd., all publicly traded junior resource companies. Prior to that Mr. Antony was a partner with a local firm of chartered accountants.

Ken Cullen - Director

Mr. Cullen is a retired chartered accountant who served as a partner of Deloitte & Touche LLP for 30 years, including 24 years in Calgary and six in Vancouver. He practiced in the Assurance and Advisory (Audit) group. Mr. Cullen is also on the board of Birchcliff Energy.

Ross D.S. Douglas, P. Eng, ICD.D - Director

Mr. Douglas is the President and Chief Executive Officer of Mancal Corporation, a private holding company in Calgary. He is active in a number of industry committees including the Canadian Centre for Energy Information and the Energy Resources Conservation Board Chairman's Advisory Committee. Mr. Douglas has also served as Chairman and Governor of CAPP, the Energy Utilities Board ("EUB") Chairman's Advisory Committee, the EUB Alternative Dispute Resolution Steering Committee, the Orphan Well Fund Advisory Committee and the Board of the Orphan Well Association, and the Industry/EUB Oil & Gas Liaison Committee. He has served as a member of the Board of Atlantis Resources, Highridge Exploration, Arawak Energy, Deepwell Energy Services Trust, Altius Energy and the Foundation for Energy Education and Research in Calgary.

Sid Dykstra - Director

Mr. Dykstra is the former Chief Executive Officer of Cinch Energy. He served as President, CEO and a Director of OPTI Canada from July 2001 to April 2009. He is also former President of Hunt Oil.

Tibor Fekete - Director

Tibor Fekete is an independent businessman. He is a professional engineer and has over 46 years experience in the oil and gas industry. Mr. Fekete founded and operated T.Fekete and Associates Inc., a leading reservoir engineering firm. He has been a Director of Southern Pacific Resource Corp. since March 2006.

Byron Lutes, P.Eng - Director, President & CEO

Byron Lutes is a professional engineer with over 26 years of industry experience and was appointed President of Southern Pacific Resource Corp. in January 2008. Previously, Mr. Lutes was the Vice-President, Operations with Mancal Energy Inc., a position he held for five years. Prior to that, he was the Vice-President, Engineering and Production for Hunt Oil Company of Canada and Vice-President, Engineering for its predecessor, Newport Petroleum Corporation. Prior to his appointment as Vice-President at Newport in 1997 he held various positions including Manager, Exploitation. Mr. Lutes spent his first eight years in the industry at Suncor Energy in various engineering and marketing roles, including an on-site operational role at the Fort McMurray Oilsands plant. Mr. Lutes graduated from the University of Calgary in 1986 with a Bachelor of Science in Chemical and Petroleum Engineering.

Mr. Lutes is active within the Canadian Association of Petroleum Producers (CAPP) as a member of the Board of Governors, Chairman of the Aboriginal Executive Policy Group as well as a Member of the Oilsands Executive Policy Group. Mr. Lutes is a member of the Association of Professional Engineers, Geologists and Geophysicists of Alberta (APEGA).
